TOP10 MOSTBEAUTIFUL GIRLSINNSUK
EDITORS NOTE:
Last semester, sum dudes stopped me as I was hustling to do my clearance to ask if I know the most beautiful girl in NSUK. I thought they were asking about the winner of a beauty pageant but before I could say a thing, a third guy came in reeling list of girls and I was lost. I latter understood they were arguing as to which girl is the finest in NSUK. I thought about it for a moment but couldn’t firmly arrived at a conclusion. The dudes around named different girls who appeal to them as the finest while they criticize those named by others. Out of curiosity, GossipHA Magazine took time to find out who really is the Most Beautiful Girl in NSUK. About 750 nomination coupons were giving around randomly for NSUKITES to nominate who they think is the finest. We retrieved about 720 coupons but only 702 were valid. From the nomination we picked those with the highest nomination and here we present to you the Top 10 Most Beautiful Girls in NSUK.

NSUK BIG GIRL WUMMI DENIES ALLEGATION OF BEING A LESBIAN
EDITORS NOTE:
WUMMI has been around for sometime and is a familiar name in NSUK social circles. She have the kind of beauty people attribute to "Sunday morning creation" -one that is flawless and naturally endowed in all. The beau is one of those that make NSUK spin. She has bagged numerous awards which were not lobbied for but given base on merit and achievement. Some of these includes The Most Beautiful Girl Remedial 2006-2007, The Most Beautiful Girl 2008-2009 Freshers Awards, Bold and Beautiful 2010, Most Beautiful Girl in Faculty of Art Awards 2010 & 2011 and numerous others she didn't make public. A lot of controversial accusations have been made against her as regards her relationship status with many tagging her terrible names as worst as " a Runs Girl" and sometimes back "a lesbian". To justify this accusations tonnes of fictitious reasons have been listed and amongst them are her looks, high dress sense and profile in NSUK social circle. In this exclusive interview with FARIS, Editor GossipHA magazine, she bore her mind on the truth of the matter in question including who she is in relationship with, what her perception of relationship is and her values for marriage and family life excepts.
Let's meet you.
**My name is Faris 400 level student of Political Science (laughs). Ok let's get serious. My name is Omowumi Aina, 400 level student of Languages and Linguistics, will be graduating in a few weeks time (winks). I sing alot and like to dance too whenever am in the mood to. I always do my best to be in mood because happy people live a little longer (smiles).
What else do you do along side schooling?
**Modelling. Modelling has always been my thing. I started with runway but stopped for sometime to handle stuff. I'll soon go back but this time I'll be doing face and skin modelling.
Yeah you got what it takes to rock any billboard in the world!
**(Both laughs)
What do you think about NSUK?
**After spending two years for the remedial program and four years running a degree program, NSUK has gradually become a part of me. I like everything about NSUK -the lecturers, students, gossips, scandals shows, and everything you can think of. Everything can't be perfect, but I appreciate. The no fighting, no drink,no smoke in school, the no entry in girls hostel etc. Its weird though when compared to other universities like UJ where both gender share same complex for hostels. It's cool.
You mean NSUK people are great and you are proud of them?
**I have a good relationship with everyone and am proud of NSUK, it's my school. I could have been anywhere else but am here.
That would mean NSUK have an indelible imprint in you?
**Yes my experience in NSUK so far has brought out the strong part of me and with it I know I can survive in any part of the world.
If you can make here, you can make it anywhere?
**Yeah (nodding). Basically you become you and you know when to do what.
Some people don't appreciate that. They rather insult the management and government?
**The question is what are they doing here in the first place? They should have thought of that when they were applying for admission. NSUK is better because she gave them admission.
You have been around for some years now. What’s your most memorable moment here?
**I've had couple of good times in NSUK, but I can say my MMM so far is the day I was crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Remedials & Diploma Awards. Despite the fact that I have received other awards after that, that particular award just seem to be the best. I think my value for it might be because it was the first I got.
What is your favorite event?
**Campus Icon
You mentioned earlier that you are into modelling. People always see models as more of call girls than professionals. What do you think?
**People would always talk about things you do cos they are not you and don't understand what you are going through. There girls -I mean grown girls who are into full time modeling but never compromised on their credibility for any reason.
Ok. Have you ever ran into any gossip pointing to you as a runs girl and a lesbian?
**Jesus Christ! You mean runs girl as in Aristo things and lesbian in it real sense? Why would I do that. Why can't people be positive about people. That's rhetorical anyways cos I think the only reason a person will say bad things about you is because you are successful. Am not a runs girl and never thought about been a pervert not even in the wildest imagination of my dreams. Gosh.
The gossip says you don't have a boyfriend in NSUK and that the guys you hangout with are just mare hangouts nothing more.
**I think its time I just laugh to that and just say no comment. Should I defend myself when it comes to having a boyfriend? No I don't think so. But why would I not have one? Am I not girl enough for guys to ask out?
No that's not it. Its because they see you as a runs girl and a lesbian?
**No am not please.
So are you in a relationship?
**Yes I am.
Hope you wouldn't mind saying with who he (or is it a she) is?
**God forbid a she relationship in my life. Please stop talking about these things am getting sick.
Ok. The guy please!
**No. I've changed my mind about telling his name.
That will be giving them the guts to say more of these crazy stuffs about you. Don't you think so?
**Who cares what they say. I am in a relationship and Faris you know with whom I am, don't you? Let them think or say what they want. My friends and other people who know me know who. We got Award for best couple twice. I don't NSUK people give lesbians award for any reason at all plus it tells you I am in a relationship that portray integrity and is worthy of emulation. My relationship is my personal business so I'll keep it that way avoid rumor mongers and gossips.
But you can tell "the us" that know "the him" how you guys met right?
**Ok. How it started abi? We were friends from our remedial days and after gaining admission for the degree program we kept a close relationship as best of friends. We have been friends for about four years. Along the line we noticed we had this Chemistry and we just clicked. We both had this feelings burning inside us but we were kind of scared to let it out because for me, I didn't want to ruin our friendship. But with time, we couldn't hold it anymore (laughing). So far we are good (winks).
Thats touchy. (Both laughs). How many relationships have you had since coming to NSUK?
**Its personal.
What do you think about NSUK guys?
**So far, I can say I have a very good relationship with my male friends in NSUK, and they are actually cool peeps to be with.
We all have fantasy of the kind of persons we want to date. Have you seen any of such dreams since coming to NSUK?
**Yes.
Have met such person?
**Yes. My man is my dream come true.
Is there any one else you are tripping for and wish to get into a relationship with?
**No. Plus am in a relationship with someone that is exactly what I want what else would I be looking for.
In a nutshell, why look for something in Sokoto while it's right here in your sokotò?
**Yes you are right. People that do that are living in fantasy and believe me, they most often end up not getting any of it not even close.
Have you ever been heart broken?
**No. A gurl should know who she's about to start a relationship with as in his real self not the fake him. A responsible guy should respect you the way you respect him and yourself. When you find out you are not compatible you mutually talk about it and remain just friends.
Have you broken someone’s heart in NSUK?
**( laughing ) that I cant remember.
Lets say you are not in a relationship, would you get involve with a celebrity, say some one like Chris brown, John Legend, Tuface or any one?
** Well I might. (smiles) but I am in a relationship now,and this guy is my number one celebrity.
Aside the fact that celebrities are sort of on the wild side, what will you say if one who is real and prove so ask you to marry him?
**I honestly haven't given dat a thought but if his ying fits my Yang then what else would I do.
You are beautiful and kind of hot. What’s the first thing in your mind when a guy says he likes you?
**Nothing really. It depends on d kind of likeness though.
What do you do to take care of your skin?
**I use moisturizers and my body scrub, eat lots of fruits and I try to sleep and rest well.
What are your favorite beauty products?
**Flori Robert
Who do you think is the most handsome dude in NSUK?
**My man. He's the most handsome dude around here. Haven't you seen him before? You shouldn't have asked (laughing).
What is your favorite shopping spot?
**Nowhere in particular. Anywhere I see something nice I shop.
What would you like to be remembered for when you leave NSUK?
**Well, every normal person want to be remembered for doing good. If I were a member of a club, I would have left a remarkable legacy in NSUK shows and entertainment circles. But all the same, all the same, I would love to be remembered as "that nice chic that had good relationship with all she was in contact with."
If you are given the opportunity, what would you like to see change in NSUK red carpet events like beauty pageants, fashion and talk shows, awards etc?
**Basically, the African perception of the modelling thing and how models are considered as being indecent, dis discourages some youth in participating in modelling events like beauty pageant, fashion shows and even reality TV shows that would have contributed to their development as well as creating an image for the Nigerian industry internationally in concert with what others in the entertainment industry are doing. I think that perception influence shows in school couple with the school's policies on related issues. Its really eating deep especially the pageantry aspects and something really need to be done about it.
Wow! We got to go. It’s a pleasure talking to you Wummi accept our best wishes as you graduate. Just don't cut the cake without inviting us (laughs).
**You are most welcome and thanks for your wishes. I'll keep your share of the cake even if you are not here when I cut it (laughs).

Raymond Bello is a final year student of Geography Education from Kogi State. He loves entertainment & politics. His political personality was influenced when he met a group of political Juggernaut from the department of Political Science who latter became his friends & club members. He started as DOS in his department but latter became DOS in the Faculty of Education and now the President NSUK Club105. He is widely known as Dude of Swagg, a name coined by his friends during his election campaign and it is another acronym for Director of Socials. In his quest to provide quality entertainment to NSUKITES, he has successfully organized holiday trips to Yankari Game Reserve, Ogbudu Cattle Ranch, The Wada Mystic Hills and this season he is set to bring the ChocolateCity crew life to NSUK. Ok. But as club president, you are known more than the regular guy in NSUK.
**If you say so.
So viewing your social status, I'll like to ask you a question. Are you in a relationship. If you are would you mind saying who?
** I know your target and I'll get you there ( laughing ). Yes I am in a relationship. Its a personal affair and am not going to make it public yet. We all have to wait for when its grown and we are set to walk down the isle. Y'all goning know.

**Yes I have and right now she is my girlfriend.

**Yes.
Does the person know you are tripping?
**No she don't because we've not met one on one yet at least for now but am going to tell her whenever I see her. You want to know who right? She is JACKIE APPIAH (winks).
You just said you are looking forward to walking down the isle with you girlfriend. What's up with the Appiah thing?
**Ok wait. Tripping for her don't necessarily means we are getting married. At least not just like that.

**I want you to understand that we know today but tomorrow is God's. Yes it can't be ruled out cos am not God. Take note- I love my girl.

**To own an event managing outfit and making it a house hold name in the country.
What do you do to take care of your skin?

Who do you think is the most beautiful chick in NSUK?
**My girlfriend.
What are the challenges you are facing as president of club105?
**Believe me when I say holding leadership position isn't easy. Here you deal with all manner of people and as a leader you must put up with them.
As a faculty DOS and President of NSUK club105, what would you like to see change in NSUK red carpet events like beauty pageant, fashion and talk shows,
awards etc.
**As a DOS & President of club 105, am going to take NSUK to the next level to meet up with other universities across the country where we see major event like MTN or Glo campus
blast shows. Imagine the Mo-Hits crew in NSUK.
Most members of the club will be graduating with you. What are your plans for new membership?
We are not after gathering crowd in the name of membership. But right now registration is on. We are not segregating, but tryna get members that are ready to entertain the NSUK community.
Its a pleasure talking with you.
**My pleasure.

MAKU IN NASARAWA STATE UNIVERSITY
CULLED FROM LABARAN MAKU'S FACEBOOK PAGE
I am very proud to be associated with the successes recorded by the Nasarawa State University, Keffi in terms of quality and standard of education being offered by the institution. The state university has grown into a national institution within a decade of its establishment with students and lecturers coming from all parts of the country.
I recall that in 1998, I made a special appeal for the establishment of a university in Nasarawa State. When I was eventually appointed Commissioner for Information in 1999 by my former boss, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, I raised a memo calling for the establishment of a state university. Despite criticisms from different quarters, the State Government went ahead and established the university.
Little did we know that we established a national institution that would offer platform for university education for people within and even outside the country. The university is now offering courses up to PhD level in various fields of study to students from different parts of the country.
Let me therefore implore the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shamsudeen Amali and the management to main and even surpass the standard for excellence set by the pioneer Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adamu Baikie. By so doing, we will continue to have graduates who are imbued with quality and functional education, values and discipline that can propel the development of our country.

The Nigeria Fashion Week has continuously provided the platform for Nigerian designers to rediscover themselves and make success of their creative talents. The Fashion week has been able to re-orient Nigerian designers to look only inward for inspiration by using locally made fabrics and accessories and come up with a range that has global appeal. Nigeria Fashion Week has always featured bold colors, but this year, just like last year the focus is on one color in particular -- green. The 2011 event with the theme ‘going green’ presented 42 designers and 39 exhibitors from 22 countries. It attracted both national and international media. The highpoint of the week was the ‘going green collection’ where most of the participating designers presented special garments made from recycled materials. It was to draw awareness to climate change issues. For the second time in a roll, Nigeria Fashion Week will showcase collection specifically to create awareness of environmental issues. The president of Nigeria Fashion Week Lexy Mojo-Eyes, said "The whole world is going green and that means the whole world is thinking about sustaining our environment. We thought this is our little contribution. The idea of Nigeria Fashion Week 'Going Green' means asking designers, to use recycled fashion accessories to be able to make collections that will help us project the idea of going green, to help in bringing awareness to people in Nigeria about the importance of a sustainable environment."
In a press release, the organizers points out that following the success of last year’s theme, this year’s event is still tagged ‘going green 2’ in continuation of what was started last season and promises to create a bigger platform for eco-fashion -or sustainable fashion as it is also called. NSUK BIG GIRL CONFESSED: WHY I LEAKED THOSE NUDE PICTURES
Interviewed & edited by FARIS & MICEL PERCY
EDITORS NOTE:
Princess is beautiful and honestly breathe taking. Her wind has the capacity to tame any guys mind. The Taurus was crowned Most Beautiful Girl 07/08 Fresher’s Award. She graduated from Nasarawa State University where she read Mass Communication. She was once buried neck deep in a scandal revolving a controversial nude picture of a friend which was claimed to be leaked by her. The scandal put NSUK social circle on a stand still for over 72 hours, but the charming chick gracefully managed herself out of it. Tones of versions pour out on how the picture got on facebook, but we at GossipHA take it as a responsibility to bring you the truth at least as from the horse’s mouth. In this interview, she bore her mind about it.
COMING SOON ON THIS NETWORK- TOP 10 MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRLS IN NSUK***SEND US YOUR NOMINATION FOR WHO YOU THINK IS NSUK'S MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL.
Let’s meet you and your family? My names are EniyeOsimerha, I hail from Edo State.
You received award for Most Beautiful Girl Freshers Award 2007/2008. How has that influence your social status in the NSUK social circle? The 2007/2008 award made me popular and I thank God that I was known for my God given beauty.
What is your most memorable moment in NSUK?The very first day I start as a student
Sometime back, a nude pix of an NSUKITE was leaked on facebook and it was said to be posted by you or rather traced to your id. What is your comment on that? The nude pic wasn’t supposed to be out to the public, I was a little fault from myself but some rumor went round that I did it purposely which wasn't so. I am so glad that the storm is all over and me and the guy in person still communicate.
So you saw the pix?Yes I saw d pix
you definitely recognized the dude?
Yes I did.
What is your relationship with him?
Yes were dating as at then.
When the pix was leaked, some said it wasn’t your fault. How true is that?
It is true that it wasn't my fault n thank God that most people understand with me.
The gist is that he earlier posted some of your pix on facebook too. Did you see the pix in question?
When all fingers were pointing at you, what did you do to clear yourself of the allegation?
I didn't do anything, I just prayer that it should be over.
Is it true that your parents hear the gist?
No my parents didn't hear what happened, I tried to hide it from them as much as I can, cos it was shamefully.
What is your relationship with the guy since the incidence occurred?
We are still friends till date.
Were you threatened by anyone or group in the course of the events?
Yes I was threatened but thank God that it didn't come to past and I tried to restrict my movement in school till date
You remained mostly indoors and never kept late hours. What inform your mood then?
I got info about the threat so I mind my business and stayed in my house.
Your friends (M,L,M) were pointed to be part of the conspiracy. How true is that?
No they are innocent and am glad they stood by me through out that period.
Your clique is cool and when people see beautiful chicks this close, they start speculating crazy things they do behind close doors. Have you heard any such gossip about you guys?
I didn't hear anything, we enjoy each other company and share problem within each other
Life is about choice, will you change your mind on that?
Yes it is, that's y we should make the right choices.
Your car is beautiful. What do you call her?
Thanks but she got no name, she serves me well and I take care of her needs(fuel n maintenance).
You are too fine and we can’t pretend that guys around don’t see that unless you want us to believe the theory that when a chick is too fine, guys are scared of coming around her. So the question is ‘are you in a relationship’?
Yes I am in a relationship and he makes me so happy
When you publicly name someone as your boy-friend, it signifies three things. First is that you are proud of him and have confidence in his loyalty. Secondly, it means you are only dating that person and lastly you could be keeping other guys off. If you don’t, it means the opposite. So which one is it?
lol........hmm, I love him no doubt and that's all that matters to me.
Basically, people don’t say their lovers name in public because they probably are dating some other persons. What are you telling us?
LWKMD... No comment
Some may still say it but that doesn’t mean they are not involved with some other persons. Do agree to this?
Yes I agree
What is your perception of marriage and family values?
Marriage is a union btw a man and a woman, u r not only marrying him or her but u r also getting married to the family, so family values r important.
What is the first thing in your mind when a guy says he likes you?
Sex... Most guys are after sex.
Beauty is said to be consuming and not all that glitter is gold. How much of you is gold?
Every bit of me is gold because I am wonderfully made and God has been faithful to me.
How true is it that when you came to NSUK you were humble and reserve i.e. you are kind of wild now?
People just judge me from afar are sometimes things they say about me is nasty but I don't let it trouble me anymore.
Should we say people are kind of in their shell the first time they come to a place like this?

NSUK STAND STILL AS ANOTHER NSUKITE GET KILLED BY FRIENDS
It seems as though every week, there is a new search within the Nigerian social media sphere for a missing person. Pretty girls, handsome men – people like you and me, the new Nigerian generation – young, educated, cosmopolitan and connected by the thread of social media – from BBM to Twitter and the almighty Facebook.
Last week, Cynthia Udoka Osokogu‘s photograph was all over the internet. She had been missing since late July 2012, however, the news became viral just a few days ago.
We saw Cynthia’s photo and prayed that like many others we would hear news that she had been found – alive and well. It was not to be. She is dead.
There is a lot of speculation about what happened to Cynthia and lack of information leads to rumours and falsities.
No one will know ever know the full story except Cynthia but here is what we can tell you.
What Happened to Cynthia?
24 Year Old Cynthia Osokogu left Abuja in late July 2012 (According to reports, on the 22nd of July 2012). Like many enterprising young people, the post-graduate student of Nasarawa State University was a clothing retailer and had travelled to Lagos to purchase new stock.
Cynthia had been chatting with some new “friends” on Facebook for a few months. In the course of their conversations, they developed a friendship and a level of trust. These young men were also university students, they seemed normal and promised to host Cynthia when she came to Lagos.
There is speculation that they paid for her plane ticket and promised to pay for her hotel as well. Only Cynthia knows if this is true. Whatever the truth is, Cynthia trusted her new friends and had no idea that they had sinister plans.
What we know is that, these 2 young men picked Cynthia up from the airport in Lagos and drove her to a hotel in Festac. At the hotel, they tied her up, robbed her of all the money she brought to shop for her business and strangled her to death.
They then left the hotel and quickly deleted her from their facebook friend list to remove any trace of their connection.
The hotel found her body and since her ID cards and mobile phone had been stolen, they could not identify her or call friends and family.
Her body was deposited in a morgue in Lagos.
All this time, her family and friends were praying for her safe return.
How the Killers Were Caught
At some point, one of the culprits accidentally answered Cynthia’s phone and the call was traced to Festac. Therefore, her missing person’s police report was submitted to the Area E Command in Festac. This enabled her family to find her body in the morgue and also led them to the hotel.
Using CCTV from the hotel, the killers were identified. According to reports, these two young men are university students who have now confessed that they killed Cynthia and she is their sixth victim – the gang reportedly specializes in luring unsuspecting young women, robbing them of their possessions before killing them. Though there is speculation that their motive was ritualistic, it appears that it was greed and their main goal was to rob and kill. The pharmacist who supplied the drugs used on Cynthia and hotel staff have also been arrested. According to Police spokesperson Ngozi Braide, “Six people were arrested on Sunday over the incident and investigations are ongoing”.
What we can learn from this
We have seen so many online comments judging Cynthia. This could have happened to anyone. With social media, this false sense of comfort and trust can be very misleading. We know couples who met on Facebook or BBM groups and are still together. If you ask them if they took security measures to protect themselves when they first met, many will confess that they did not. We hear of friendships built on twitter and BBM, where the first meeting was in the home of one of the friends. The truth is anything can happen. You have to be savvy and wise.
Cynthia was the only daughter and the last born of her parents – Ret. Major General Frank & Mrs Joy Osokogu. She was dotted on by her three elder brothers and parents. She was vibrant and enterprising. Everyone misses her so much! May Cynthia’s gentle soul rest in peace.
Tribute to Cynthia by her best friend, Aishatu Ene Ella
In the last few days I have seen had my heart torn, stripped and broken in pieces first by the disappearance and death of my Dearest friend and secondly by the wickedness exhibited by Nigerians, passing judgment on someone they never knew or met.
When she was officially declared meeting we put up a number online so people with information can call and help out, of over 500 calls we received in 3 days, only 2 of those calls were from people who actually helped with information. One was my dear friend Nuhu Kwajafa, the other was the Area Commander who called to inform us of the arrest of the people. The others were heartbreaking to say this least, I wondered how her mother would have coped if she had to deal with silliness, pettiness and undeserved hate from strangers, who just took one look at a lady and decided to judge her based on her looks.
When the sad news of her death broke, I made a comment and said I hope “all those who have insisted she was with a man would have their answer now and let her rest in peace” how wrong I was, They wouldn’t rest, they would only go back and manufacture a more hurtful and painful story, formulate more rumors and pass it around as facts, hmmm it is well. I have no comments for hateful people, I just want to share with you the real Cynthia, the Cynthia we knew not the one who hateful people have created in the last few days.
Cynthia was born on 10th of November 1987 to Gen Frank and Joy – Rita Nkem Osokogu, Udoka as her Mother named her, even as a baby was a uniting factor in her family. Her Mother had 3 boys before her, she was the last baby and only girl.
Her Parents had settled in Jos where we were and still neighbors, We became friends because in those days there were only few houses in the area. I was the last child and so didn’t have a lot of playmates my age, her brothers were my mates and Cynthia as the only girl didn’t have much friends around the neighborhood either so she tagged along when we had our “adventures” and “yawo”.
Cynthia the Model and Business Woman
2004 was one of the hardest years for the Family I was raised with in Jos, Cynthia and her Mom was with me all the way. They were there to comfort, assist, cook etc.
She was a tall beautiful and slender girl, we always teased her because even at 13 she was taller than me and the same height with her brothers, she was a tomboy all the way. Determined, stubborn and focused. As she grew into her height Her Mum and I playful suggest she try modeling because of her structure, Cynthia took it seriously, even though her major focus was education she gave modeling a trial and did quiet well as a model.
In 2007, she got her first major run way job and I will never forget the day she called me from Lagos after she had been paid, she said she wouldn’t want to waste the money and would buy clothes and bring to school to sell. The first badge of clothes never made it to keffi as industrious Cynthia who staying with her brother during her visit at Airforce Quarters sold the clothes to her brother, his colleagues and their friends, she told me she made 3 times her capital and immediately re-invested, bought more stock, came to Keffi and rented a shop, that was the birth of her Baby: “Dresscode”.
I remember I bought her the forms to one of the national competitions some years ago, she passed the screening passed 2 stages and called me one day to say she was asked to compromise to get through the next round, I told her to withdraw and she left. That was in 2011. She never entered any major pageant after that.
When it came to business Cynthia was midas, she knew when to make a great sale, she was never at a loss, her business grew from strength to strength all this while she was not even 21, @ 21 a lot of the people who now make it a point to formulate such hateful rumors were still struggling to buy Jamb Results.
Cynthia the Sister and Daughter
Cynthia was like the baby sister I didnt have, She was my confidant, stylist and a great comfort. We shared a lot, tears, smiles, laughs, joys ,sorrows and was always at my service. She was greatly involved in charity, anytime I sent a text or posted a picture of someone needing medical support, I could count on Cynthia as one of the first respondents. When she was in Abuja, she would always come and volunteer, run errands, always with a smile. When I get to Jos, she will be at the motor park waiting, Thats if she doesnt pick me up from Abuja. Not to forget my person Stylist, she either bought or chose most of my clothes, most times my friend say “you look nice” i tell them “ask Cynthia oh, I have no idea what I am wearing”. Style has never been a strong point of mine, but if Cynthia bought it or asked me to buy it I knew it was good and stylish
To her Mother, Cynthia was her heart. Several times I will ask Cynthia please dont go to Jos it is volatile and she will reply me ” Mumsy is alone at home”, or when she is in Jos and there was a fight I would call and ask her to leave Jos and come and stay a few days with me, she will say “I cant leave Mumsy alone here now” . That was our Cynthia, Others first.
When it was time to serve, while others would work their service to areas full of opportunity like Abuja, Lagos and Porthacort, Cynthia worked her service to crisis ridden Jos to be close to her Mother, Is that what a “runsgirl” does?
At age 24, Cynthia had a successful business, and was running a Post Graduate Program in Public Administration, sadly people will ignore all that and choose to believe that because she is pretty and Young she must be a “Runsgirl”, how sad, we Judge people by our own low and shabby standards.
She earned every kobo she had by good old hard work, Lets even forget her Father supported her financially but that didn’t turn her to a spoilt brat she was as determined as ever to make her own mark and earn her own keep.
The world and people who have no standards can stand afar and Judge all they want but we know who you are and we love you, we don’t need to defend You My baby, just setting the records straight.
The security Situation in our country now is horrible at best, people are kidnapped, robbed and killed everyday, why is it so hard to believe that a young girl was killed while going to pursue her legitimate business? If It was a man who was killed would we have come up with all these stories? If it was an older woman or someone not so attractive would we still? Her crime is being, young, pretty and a business woman. Hmmm, People, Have the decency to let us mourn in peace. Please.

300-LEVEL STUDENT GOES NUDE, SAYS I WANT TO BREAK INTO NOLLYWOOD
A 300-level student of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, NIJ, Ogba, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, has gone nude to break into the big league of the glamorous Nigerian movie industry, known as Nollywood, saying she wants to be famous and rich.
The 21-year-old student, Ms. Enitan Adeshola Okesanya, vowed to enter the industry with a big bang.
“I think there is something missing in the industry and that’s me. I seriously think so. I have got this talent and passion inside me that I want to show to everybody out there. I want the world to see what I have got inside me, the God-given talent inside me, and I know that the media are actually waiting for that young person that will come and blow everybody away. That’s why I believe that they are looking for me,” she told our correspondent last night as both scanned through her bawdy pictures.
To break into the world’s third biggest movie industry, Enitan said, she will go as far as her strength will carry her.
“As long as my strength can carry me. Since it’s about passion, I don’t think I can get tired. I will not stop until I am done, not even when I am tired.
“I love acting. I love fame. I hate poverty and I want to be rich. Ever since I was a child I always wanted to be in the big screen. I think the time has come for me to show the world what I’ve got inside me,” she said. She said taking controversial pictures make her controversial and appealing. “I think because I am personally crazy. I love creativity. I love doing things that are so unusual. I don’t want to be doing everyday things. When I take a picture and people keep wondering, who’s that girl? I want to just create a controversy. That’s why I love taking crazy pictures,” she said.
Enitan said she will use acting and movie to reach to people who need help in the society.
“Acting is basically more than what we see on the screen. I could use acting to pass messages to the less privileged out there, to different people in our society. I could use acting and movies to impact knowledge into people’s lives because there are so many people out there that are looking for one thing or the other and through the expression of what I feel inside, through acting, I believe that I could pass messages across to the average people out there.”
The actress to be who was born on 7 May 1991 hails from Epe Local Government. She is the first child in a family of six and lost her father in 2010.
She said she loves dancing and acting and has a strong belief that she will be successful, anyhow.
